Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Operations Coordinator plans and organizes the pharmacy department to ensure proper procurement, storage, preparation, distribution, use, and waste of medications in conformance with legal regulations and hospital standards. In conjunction with other members of the pharmacy leadership and the medical and nursing staff, the Pharmacy Operations Coordinate participates in the development of programs, policies, and procedures that promote the delivery of the safe and effective use of medications and other quality pharmaceutical services.
