Staff Optometrist - Per Diem

Job description

Description Function: Under the supervision of the Clinical Director of Optometry, the Staff Optometrist provides comprehensive quality eye care to a broad range of patients, engages in clinical teaching, and assists the clinical director in clinical operations. The Staff Optometrist also adheres to all clinical operations, including patient care, compliance with regulatory agencies/requirements (e.g. OSHA, DPH, JCAHO), infection control, quality assurance, equipment maintenance, patient complaints, and incident reporting. We are seeking a Per Diem Optometrist to join our team for regular clinical coverage. This role requires availability at least twice per month for pre-scheduled shifts provided in advance and some flexibility to cover as needed for providers who are out.
