Sign On Bonus Eligible Default Work Shift: Nights (United States of America) Hours: 36 Salary range: $48.09 - $78.18 Schedule: Full Time Shift Hours: 12 Hour employee Department: Emergency Room Job Objective: Under the direction of and reporting to the Emergency Department Director and SAFE RN Coordinator, the forensic nurse examiner conducts medical/forensic examinations on patients of sexual assault, interpersonal violence, strangulation, or other physical trauma, including suspect examinations as requested. Education: Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing Licensure/Certification: Required: Preferred: SANE-A or SANE-P certification (American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)) Experience: Required: Three (3) years of experience as an acute care registered nurse Preferred: Experience in emergency department, labor and deliver, critical care or experience as a forensic nurse conducting sexual assault exams - California RN License; - American Heart Association BLS and ACLS; - PALS within 30 days of hire; - Must have active driver license with proof of insurance; - Must complete the didactic courses and obtain the certificates referenced below o...
