Guardian Australia is part of Guardian News & Media (GNM), publisher of theguardian.com. As a leading global media organisation, we are renowned for our pioneering independent journalism and our award-winning digital products. We are seeking a social media producer to join our Editorial team. This role will take ownership of Guardian Australia’s social media channels, scheduling and posting across our main brand accounts and other social platforms as needed. This role will work in consultation with multimedia editors and audience editors to create highly engaging photo, text, graphic and video content that brings Guardian Australia journalism to new audiences off-platform in creative ways. This role is being offered on a full-time 12 month contract, with early starts and/or late finishes. This role is open to candidates based in Sydney or Melbourne.
