Technician - Mechanical

Job description

You will make an impact in the following ways: - Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products - Diagnose and repair engines - Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components - Engine rebuilding and reconditioning - Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation - Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens - Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor To be successful in this role you will need the following: - Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards) - Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential. - Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities - Be a team player & be prepared to adhere to Cummins Policies - Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any i...
