Job description

The Video Engineer position is responsible for the operation of video for University classes and events. This includes providing oversight of video equipment, staff operators, administration, and technical performance of all University audio event systems. Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA: Essential duties: - Oversees video production of university events and recordings. - Provide timely on-call help to faculty, staff, and students in the proper use of the video equipment and systems in all spaces on campus. - Provide day-to-day video support for all university spaces. - Responsible for inventory of university video equipment. - Responsible for routine maintenance of all university video equipment. - Provide training and supervision to assigned Media Services Student Workers and Graduate Assistants. - Recommend the purchase of video equipment and systems.
