The Vertical Mill Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual vertical milling machines to shape and fabricate metal components to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC and manual vertical milling machines to machine metal components according to job specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to determine cutting parameters. Set up and adjust machine settings, including spindle speed, feed rate, and cutting tool selection, for optimal performance. Load and secure raw materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and fixturing. Monitor machining operations, making real-time adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
