Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience Job type: Full Time: Shift: Days: Hours: 0800-1630: GENERAL DUTIES: Support and assist the development of the Rehabilitation Program area(s) assigned and for the provision of Speech Therapy services. Rehabilitation Services at Desert Regional Medical Center include the provision of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to patients on acute units, the Skilled Nursing Facility and in the Outpatient Program. This program provides services to include wound care, orthopedic, and neuro-rehab. Access to all Patient Health Information for treatment purposes only. Required: Valid California Speech Pathology Licensure Excellent communication and documentation skills. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Preferred: Experience in Barium Swallow Evaluations - Evaluate and treat patient using good body mechanics and safety techniques. - Performs evaluations, planning, and treatment of patients in a timely manner. - Document accurately, clearly, legibly, timely (the day of treatment) within the scope of practice.
