POSITION OVERVIEW: A short description of the general purpose of the position The QA/QC Specialist is responsible for performing detailed quality assurance and quality control activities on construction projects. This role focuses on inspections, documentation, and compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The QA/QC Specialist works under the direction of the QA/QC Supervisor or Manager to ensure that all materials and workmanship meet established quality requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: the main duties and tasks the role is expected to perform Quality Execution: - Implement QA/QC procedures and inspection checklists as directed. - Conduct inspections of construction activities, materials, and equipment. - Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. - Assist in reviewing submittals and RFIs for quality compliance. Field Inspections & Testing: - Perform daily site inspections and document findings. - Witness material testing and commissioning activities. - Inspect delivered materials for compliance with approved submittals.
