Elementary School Health Aide

Job description

Description The Elementary School Health Aide provides health care to students who require basic first aid, administers medication, and performs medical procedures and tasks as delegated by a School Registered Nurse and as requested by a health care provider and parent. Evaluates ill or injured students and notify parents as needed. Provides care in emergency situations and calls parents or emergency personnel when necessary. Records health concerns, immunizations, daily health office visits in the school’s computerized student information system. This is a 10 month position and the hourly rate range is from $21.34 - $25.66 depending on experience and education level.
