Market Development Manager

Job description

A successful candidate will manage an assigned territory in the US Central Time Zone and work anywhere within this region. This will include representing West Fraser wood products within the new home, multi-family and commercial construction markets. They will be both a technical resource and product expert in their territory along with growing relationships with our key customers and developing a marketing plan for the assigned territory. Here’s What You’ll Do: - Establishing, managing, and maintaining customer relationships by ensuring excellent service and follow-up and by learning and supporting the customers’ business - Designing and implementing regional marketing programs with key pro-dealers, retail accounts and builders which support corporate sales and marketing objectives - Promoting new and existing products to contractor yards and builders - Serving as a subject matter expert regarding products or programs in the marketplace - Establish, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with key pro-dealers, retail accounts, builders, and industrial customers - Ensure exceptional service, proactive follow-up, and deep understanding of customer business models - Serve as a...
