Description Primary Focus: Provides personal individualized care to patients/patients utilizing the Nursing Care Plan in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team to deliver quality care. Essential Functions: - Works collaboratively with peers and team members, using tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations. - Takes responsibility of this position and completes duties with minimal direction for supervisor when appropriate. - Assists patients with ADL’s skillfully with consideration for individual needs. - Provides personal hygiene measures appropriately. - Utilizes correct procedures in order to promote good skin care. - Assists patient in using assistive devices in ambulation, dressing, eating, positioning, and allowing opportunity for self-care. - Promotes and assists patients’ participation in activities. - Provides care outlined utilizing the Nursing Care Plan through utilization of Nursing Orders. - Performs competently those technical skills considered basic to the scope of service on the unit. - Treats patients, visitors and families with respect and dignity; identifies and addresses psychoso...
