Job description

Location : Dundee, Florida Summary : The Packaging Automation Shop Technician Apprentice (Shop Technician) is a hands-on technical role responsible for the assembly maintenance, repair, testing, and preparation of automated packaging machinery and related equipment within the shop environment. This position supports field service operations by ensuring automation systems are properly built, configured, inspected, and ready for installation at customer facilities. The Shop Technician reports directly to the Shop Foreman and works closely with Field Technicians and Operations to maintain equipment quality, reliability, and deployment readiness. This role requires strong mechanical and technical aptitude and foundational knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, motor controls, and PLC-based equipment, along with the ability to work with industrial automation machinery while following company standards and procedures.
