Position: Associate Counsel Department: Legal Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Deputy General Counsel Status: Full-Time (Exempt) Position Summary: The Associate Counsel position supports all business units of Tepper Sports & Entertainment (“TSE”), namely the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Football Club (and its affiliates) and Bank of America Stadium, with respect to their business interests in various commercial matters. This includes drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial agreements with vendors, sponsors, and other counterparties, which necessitates working closely with various departments within TSE and its related entities to anticipate, identify and manage liability areas and legal exposure. Primary Responsibilities: - Prepare, review and negotiate all varieties of legal documents including, but not limited to, broadcast agreements, event agreements, sponsorship agreements, merchandising agreements, suite license agreements, vendor/service agreements, waivers, consents, confidentiality agreements and medical services agreements. - Work closely with sales and revenue departments to draft, negotiate and review contracts, including corporate partnership and media (te...
