Faculty Employment Opportunity POSITION: The Department of Teacher Education invites applications for a temporary lecturer appointment. Part-time appointment to begin in Fall 2026. Duties include teaching various courses in the Education Specialist Credential Program (ESCP) in the Department of Teacher Education. Additional responsibilities include holding office hours for students; participation in course collaboration meetings, and program-related training. This position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Master's in Special Education or a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Special Education. 2. Demonstrated expertise in teaching students with disabilities. 3. A minimum of five years of TK-12 teaching experience in a special education setting (i.e., Mild/Moderate and/or Extensive Support Needs). 4. Strong evidence of teaching effectiveness (Note: Applicant must include evaluations of prior teaching experience.) 5. Strong generic training with skills and experience in assessment, curriculum, and instruction of students. 6.
