3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. EOW/EOH Primary Function : Responsible for performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services to care for the personnel needs and comforts of patients. Responsible for transcribing physician orders, performing receptionist, clerical duties and coordinating non-nursing services within unit. Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and observe all hospital policies and procedures. Responsibilities: -Provide general patient care, assist with personal hygiene and perform routine activities as directed by the Registered Nurse. -Initiate, assemble and maintain accurate functional chats for all patients in the assigned unit. Transcribe written physician orders and complete all necessary forms, requisitions and communications necessary to implement orders and record clinical data, such as vital signs received from the nursing unit. -Maintain patient’s medical records in an orderly manner and document all care provided and significant information, legibly, accurately and completely. -Observe assigned patients and report nay patient care problems, change in patient condition or unexpected occurrences to RN/Team Leader. -Mainta...
