The hiring range for this opportunity is $23.08 to $31.00 per hour along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience. POSITION SUMMARY: The Consumer/Business Loan Specialist I is the primary back-office liaison for branch sales staff and bank customers on all consumer loans that are accepted through normal Bank Branch delivery channels. The Specialist accepts pre application/referral applications from Bank employees and “owns” the relationship until the loan is ready to board. The Specialist contacts the customer to gather application information and submits the application for underwriting review. The Specialist is responsible for all compliance related aspects of the application submission, including joint intent and HMDA. He or she ensures that customer contact is maintained on a regular basis throughout the processing period either by direct follow-up with the customer or indirect follow-up through the branch sales staff as required.
