SUPERVISOR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES: Job Description: Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1. Reviews assigned areas on a continuous basis, to ensure work meets the department's quality standards and that work schedules are adhered to. Provides direct feedback and follow-up to staff, as needed. 2. Responds to emergency calls and moves staff, as appropriate. Makes adjustments and changes daily assignments of staff. Recommends changes regarding work schedules and staff assignments. Coordinates project work and supervises assigned work crews. Reviews earned time requests, vacations, and use of overtime with manager/director. 3. Conducts quality control interviews with patients, prepares reports of findings, and reviews with the director/manager, as well as the appropriate nurse manager. 4. Coordinates the cleaning of drapes throughout the hospital with the outside contractor. Coordinates the activities of pest control company, following established guidelines.
