GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: To provide friendly, efficient, and accurate checkout for customers who have already selected their items and have been provided service by customer service personnel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Be aware of customers as they enter the store and greet them promptly and courteously · Demonstrate friendliness and cheerfulness to customers and co-workers · Assist customers with loading and unloading · Promptly and courteously answer the phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate person or department · Be knowledgeable about product locations and product functions · Promptly call for additional cashiers when there are more than (3) people in line to check out · Maintain check stand and till in an...
