Job Title: Indirect Tax Analyst Contract Type: Permanent Time Type: Full time Job Description: Gunvor USA – Indirect Tax Analyst Job Summary: The Indirect Tax Analyst will support the US business and help ensure that indirect tax considerations are properly reflected in on-going business activities within the company risk profile and for business decisions purposes. This position requires good technical skills, communication skills, proactive project management skills, and sound financial acumen. Role is based in Houston and will report to the Indirect Tax Manager. Profile: Bachelor degree in Accounting; Master in Taxation (or equivalent) 3+ years of relevant experience in indirect tax, or similar role, US tax knowledge preferred Experience within the oil and gas industry and/or within a Big 4 company; expertise in energy or commodity trading business preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Excel and Access Team player and excellent communication skills, including written and spoken (English) Proactive, ability to work independently, deal with all levels of management and external contacts Great judgment, resiliency, strong analytical and problem-solving skill...
