POSITION SUMMARY: Relocation Assistance available up to $15,000 Pay range: $39.51/hr - $57.31/hr: The Respiratory Therapist participates in planning, delivering, controlling and evaluating safe and effective diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory therapy services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Performed majority of the time: · Independently performs respiratory diagnostic testing, including stress treadmill testing and EKG’s. · Performs respiratory treatments as listed on the orientation checklist according to departmental procedures. · Administers respiratory medication safely following hospital and departmental policies. · Documents assessments, treatments and medications accurately utilizing hospital and departmental formats. · As a member of the Code Blue team, provides cardiopulmonary resuscitation. · Maintains emergency resuscitation equipment and other equipment, in proper working condition. · Participates in establishing a system to maintain a clean, well-organized, safe environment; reports potential safety hazards. · Assists in maintaining adequate respiratory therapy supplies in the department and in-patient care areas. · Participates in evaluation of new procedures and equipmen...
