Description Job Title: Camp Wakonda Assistant Counselor Pay Grade: 1 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Seasonal Pay Range: $12.57-$15.71-$18.85 Reports to: School Age Childcare and Camp Director Revision Date: 3.10.2026: Position Summary: Supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Builds members and the community’s understanding of the YMCA’s impact. This position provides leadership and direct supervision of a group of youth in a seasonal outdoor day camp setting. Provides positive engagement with youth in a safe, nurturing environment. Provides quality experience to children and parents focused on YMCA core values: honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
