Job description

Description The Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative maintenance and/or repairs of dairy production and processing equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, as well as utility related equipment. Duties will also include maintenance of building and support equipment. - Perform preventative maintenance as required on all industrial equipment in the plant including but not limited to conveyers, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (arc/Heli-arc), gearboxes/drives, valves/pumps, federal fillers, n8 filler. - Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480v, 3 phase, read, and interpret electrical drawings. - Directs and coordinates assembly, fabrication, and installation activities to ensure equipment and systems conform to engineering design and internal specifications and standards. - Recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions or to improve safety, quality, or equipment operating parameters. - Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. - Ensure compliance with all company policies, plant rules and regulations. - Responsible for reporting and taking any n...
