Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. We currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Manager in Canberra, ACT to work on JC2SPO projects. What You’ll Do: This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including: - Deliver systems engineering within CASG’s engineering management system to support effective sustainment of SPO products and projects. - Develop and maintain Engineering Management Plans (EMP) and supporting artefacts aligned with ASDEFCON (Support) standards. - Plan and execute engineering activities in line with product schedules, work agreements, and contractual requirements. - Coordinate engineering processes, reviews, and working groups (e.g. CDRL reviews, system safety forums, change boards) to support product delivery. - Revi...
