Tool and Fixture Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Tool and Fixture Specialist to join our dynamic Manufacturing Team in Heath, Ohio! Position Responsibilities: - Performs required tool set up, maintenance, inspection and repairs. - Manufactures assembly tools using appropriate precision tools and machinery. - Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required. - Uses appropriate precision equipment to build, maintain and inspect tools. - Provides tooling support to other organizations. - Designs various fabrication and assembly tools per part engineering drawings to enable tool fabrication using computer or paper tool design processes. - Demonstrates functionality of fabrication and assembly tools to approving authority by manufacturing first part with new tool. - Resolves problems with tool to produce acceptable parts and assemblies. - Performs routine tool set up activities.
