POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Aviation Security Operations is responsible for overseeing all security aspects and initiatives within a business aviation organization and acts as an advisor to the Chief Safety Officer on all matters pertaining to flight safety and security, works in concert with and supports all other safety departmental personnel and Flight Operations. Responsible for managing flight safety and security components within the company’s comprehensive safety and security program. Assists in the development, implementation, and management of safety programs, policies, and procedures. Help ensure the company complies with all current safety and security regulations and industry’s best practices. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with Flight Operations, Operations Control managers and Owner Service Representatives to monitor the company’s aircraft operations for safe practices and regulatory compliance Assist in the company’s Operational Risk Management program for all aviation-related events Work within parameters and assist with the Safety Management System (SMS) Serve as Aircraft Operator Security Coordinator (AOSC) Serves as Transportation Vetting Portal (TVP) mana...
