Job Description: Telespazio Germany is looking to complement their current Astronomical Missions Operations team with additional engineering support, delivering services to ESA/ESOC for the XMM & INTEGRAL missions. Key Responsibilities: To take over existing operations instrument activities, currently provided by ESAC and integrate them into the FCT at ESOC. To be a proactive key-team member to modernise existing operational activities while transferring them and introduce modern tools, to optimise the processes and operational efficiencies. - maintain the instrument procedures (develop, change & test) - maintain the instrument database (develop, change & test) - perform instrument anomaly recoveries - perform special operations support for instruments (eclipse operations, and development of automation activities to streamline the work of the Real-Time-Operations team - support the calibration and mission planning teams at ESAC for operations - provision of On-call support - Execute real-time payload operations - Perform maintenance of instruments and observing modes - Perform maintenance of the instrument onboard software - support the instrument health and performance monitoring...
