Education: - Associate Degree in Nursing required (BSN Preferred) or - Licensed Practical Nurse required if not ADN Licenses and Certification: - Current Illinois Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license - BLS Experience and Skills: - Technical Field: 5 years as a Registered Nurse, LPN Role Specific Responsibilities: - Develop and administer orientation and onboarding for new nursing and clinical staff for the SIH Medical Group - Assess and document annual and ongoing training and competency requirements for SIH Medical Group nursing and clinical staff - Proactively identify and respond to needs of the SIH Medical Group to promote quality patient care and safety - Deliver competency-based programs for nursing and support staff with a focus upon improvement of skills and retention of knowledge - Develop and provide educational opportunities that benefit clinical staff at all stages of their career development and learning needs - Assist with the development of IT training materials as it relates to nursing and support staff; ensure staff are...
