8:00pm-8:00am, Rotating days General Summary: Maintenance Technician I is responsible for the basic upkeep, repair and preventative maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment. This equipment may include mechanical, automation, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. This role includes addressing basic maintenance requests, conducting minor building repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting) and assisting senior technicians with complex projects, this also can include on-call duties. This position is responsible for product safety, quality and legality. Primary Responsibilities: - Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC - Operate and maintain operations equipment to include powered industrial and floor scrubbing equipment - Perform daily, weekly, or monthly maintenance, including watering cells, cleaning terminals, and neutralizing acid. Inspect batteries for damage, leaks, or wear and tears - Properly manage charging cycles to prevent overcharging and safely swap batteries in electric forklifts using material handling equipment (MHE) - Maintain a clean and safe battery charging station, including repai...
