Overview: The purpose of the Utility Inspector is to provide inspection of contractor’s quality of work in accordance with the client’s policies and procedures as it relates to excavation and installation on pipeline construction projects. The Utility Inspector works under the direction of the Chief Inspector, who may assign additional responsibilities to the Inspector as needed. Responsibilities: - Inspect other contractor’s work for compliance with all permit requirements and one-call (call before you dig) requirements. Utility Inspectors shall immediately verbally communicate any deviations therefrom to Chief Inspector and the client and follow up with formal written documentation the same day. - V...
