Overview The Clinical Social Worker I provides clinical social work services to students and their families. This position serves as a social work role and training model to graduate social work/counseling trainees and interdisciplinary team members. The incumbent develops Mental Health Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and implements those goals as outlined. Responsibilities: - Provides social work services to students, including psychosocial assessment and treatment/interventions, individual and group therapy, case management, and family therapy as needed. - Participates in interdisciplinary school committees. - Provides appropriate documentation according to departmental guidelines, including but not limited to required Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation, progress notes, and psychosocial assessments. Works with teams to develop Functional Behavioral Assessments, Behavioral Intervention Plans, and reports for outside agencies. - Functions effectively within a multidisciplinary team by advocating for client needs; participating actively in team plans; and using clear, concise, and assertive communication in written and oral form. - Demonstrates a compe...
