Vocal Performance Instructor

Job description

The vocal instructor will lead fun, age-appropriate activities such as solo and group singing, call and response, vocal techniques, and music exploration. Students will build musical confidence and contribute to vocal performances throughout the school year, such as TMS and site specific events, in addition to our End-of-Year Showcase. Guide students in building confidence and stage presence, preparing them for live performances and showcases. - Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on vocal technique, stage presence, and expressive performance. - Teach students proper breathing, diction, pitch, tone, and vocal health practices to support safe, sustainable singing. - Lead students in warm-ups, exercises, and repertoire study that strengthen vocal ability and artistic expression. - Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, peer learning, and artistic risk-taking. - Help students explore a diverse range of musical styles and genres, expanding their vocal versatility and appreciation. - Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to support both personal growth and artistic development. - Encourage students t...
