Summary The Transmission Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing and adhering to standard GPL designs and developing engineering solutions that maintain reliability and meet safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on critical projects that directly support the growth and resilience of the electric grid. The role is considering individuals at various experience levels, with responsibilities increasing in complexity from Associate Engineer, Engineer, Staff Engineer and Senior Engineer. Pay Range : (Depending on qualifications and experience) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply regulatory standards and compliance requirements from NERC, ERCOT, and the Public Utility Commission of Texas in design or project analyses and documentation. Prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal leadership, ERCOT working groups, and regulatory bodies. Review and validate approval drawings for devices/apparatus, physical and grounding designs, BOMs and record drawings.
