Description The Department of Neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine is seeking to hire vascular neurologists to join our Comprehensive Stroke Center at Harborview Medical Center and our Stroke Program supporting patient care across the Pacific Northwest. Successful applicants will join an outstanding, dedicated and large group of vascular neurologists, neuroendovascular specialists (from neurosurgery, radiology and neurology), Neurocritical Care and Emergency Medicine teams. Your responsibilities will include active participation in direct patient care, with a range of practice options that could include inpatient service, call and clinic. We encourage participation in research, with multiple basic science and clinical study options. Faculty interact with trainees from medical students to fellows, and contribute directly to the education of our four Stroke fellows each year. In addition to care in the Seattle region, we provide stroke care to the geography of the WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho), offering unprecedented scope, opportunity and impact to our faculty.
