Description Position Summary: The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating catering revenue through the proactive sale of event space, food and beverage services, and related amenities. This role manages client relationships from initial inquiry through event execution, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience. The ideal candidate is sales-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable events. · Book all social catering functions in accordance with established goals set by hotel to reach expected revenues via the annual budget. · Develop a target sales and marketing plan with focus on social and meeting catering functions which will include a combination of sales calls, site visits and prospecting for future relationships. · Assist with the development of banquet menus. · Participate in 30-60-90 day banquet forecasting. · Coordinate in-house sales promotions and associate functions. · Greet client upon arrival. · Facilitate and communicate details related to catering functions to management. · Maintain professionalism in problem situations. · Maintain detailed records of discussions with guest, including all meeting setups, food and beverage, et...
