HVAC Chiller Technician

Job description

The HVAC Chiller Technician is responsible for installing, diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and servicing a wide variety of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and hydronic systems. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical expertise, experience with chilled water systems, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: - Install, inspect, repair, maintain, and service HVAC and hydronic equipment and systems. - Repair and maintain hot water system, chilled water systems ventilation units, and air conditioning units. - Service and maintain pumps, closed-loop and open-loop condenser water systems and chilled water systems. - Maintain and troubleshoot cooling towers, fluid coolers and other types of heat rejection equipment. - Diagnose and repair air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, including centrifugal chillers. - Replace fans, belts, motors, gaskets, filters, compressors, and other mechanical components. - Install and adjust switches, gauges, thermostats, valves, tubing, transformers, pressure regulators, controllers, and related parts. - Descale tubing, cut and thread pipe, and make pipe and electrical connections. - Add refr...
