Job description

Role: We have an immediate opening for a Garage Door Helper Technician in our Regina branch. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Helper will work as part of a two-person crew, this position will assist in the service and/or installation of residential or commercial doors while learning on the job from the Lead Garage Door Technician. This role is a permanent, full time position with opportunities for advancement. There is a possibility of on call and overtime. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Participating in installing Sectional (includes FinDoor), Rolling steel, Fire Doors, High Speed Doors, Security Grilles, Roll Shutters, Bifold - D&A Testing for site access or post incident - Championing safety standards with a strong safety mindset - Working with hand tools, electric tools, lifts, and ladders - Maintain a professional manner during regular interaction with warehouse staff, construction Project Managers, customers, other trades, and safety personnel - Taking direction from the Lead Technician and providing support - Out of town travel for installation and service work, not limited to weekdays- without notice - Focus on quality workmanship - Actively participating...
