Overview CVP seeks a Registered Nurse to join our team in providing nursing services for our Nation's Veterans at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center- Fort Thomas. This is an exciting opportunity to serve those who have served us while working in the Intensive Care Unit. We have full-time, part-time and PRN contract opportunities available. Responsibilities: - Maintain patient/resident confidentiality and a safe patient/resident care environment, including compliance with requirements such as medication administration, patient/resident/family education, discharge process, restraint usage, and hazardous waste disposal Provide patient/resident-centered care by: - Assessing the healthcare needs of patients/residents and maintaining or developing plans of care to meet interdisciplinary goals - Identifying and acting on significant changes in the patient's/resident's health condition - Carrying out the plan of care by performing/assigning delegated tasks - Documenting pertinent data in the electronic patient/resident medical record using designated templates - Completing nursing assessments within required timeframes and according to policy - Meeting the emotional and spiritual needs of pa...
