The Team + The Role Pendo’s Revenue Accounting team supports the order-to-cash process and helps ensure revenue is recognized accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with technical accounting standards. The team partners closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Systems, and external auditors to translate complex revenue requirements into scalable processes. As a Sr. Revenue Accountant, you will contribute to the revenue recognition process end to end, with a focus on ASC 606, complex contract review, technical accounting research, and monthly revenue reporting. You will help reduce manual work by leveraging automation tools, data flows, integrations, and AI-enabled tools while coaching junior team members and strengthening cross-functional alignment. This role is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. What this looks like day-to-day: - Revenue accounting and contract review: Review complex customer contracts for ASC 606 considerations and assess the operational impact of contract terms.
