TITLE: Adjunct of Criminal Justice – In-Person Only DEPARTMENT: School of Criminal Justice and Government Relations REPORTS TO: Chair, School of Criminal Justice and Government Relations EFFECTIVE DATE: TBD: EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Part- Time: EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Exempt: PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Adjunct Instructor in Criminal Justice will deliver high‑quality, in‑person instruction in undergraduate Criminal Justice courses. Responsibilities include teaching assigned face‑to‑face classes, maintaining accurate records, assessing student learning, and supporting student success. Instructors are expected to follow the approved syllabus, meet all scheduled class sessions, and comply with university policies and academic standards. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with KSU’s academic standards and the mission of the School of Criminal Justice and Government Relations. Support student learning across diverse educational settings, including traditional classroom, hybrid, and online formats, while preparing students for careers in criminal justice and public service.
