ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Stock Assistant in our National Distribution Centre, you'll have the important job of making sure the right stock is in the right place at the right time for our shops and, ultimately, our customers. You will work within the Stock Management department, ensuring that all stock related activities are carried out efficiently and accurately in order to support the business objective of having the right stock in the right place at the right time. The key responsibilities are supporting all operational areas with advice and support, dealing with queries and communication from branches, Buying Office, suppliers and internal departments. Stock Partners are responsible for decisions regarding stock integrity and must understand the complexities of a warehouse operation. In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 18:00 - 22:00 will attract an Evening Premium at a rate of £3.25 per hour, and any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium at a rate of £4.25 per hour.
