Organisation: Leicestershire County Council Work Location: County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RA Salary: £25,191 - £25,590 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) (Pay award pending) Working Hours: 37 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent: Closing Date: 26th April 2026: Interview Date(s): Week commencing 4th May 2026 (Date TBC) We are looking to recruit a full time Public Transport Technician to join the Sustainable Travel Team. This role will support the delivery of improvements to public transport in the county. Leicestershire has a good commercial bus network, complemented by local bus services tendered by the Sustainable Travel Team including FoxConnect and taxi-based demand responsive transport services. Additional government funding will further support improvements to public transport information and infrastructure. About the Role: A key part of this role is to carry out a range of administrative tasks along with maintaining and monitoring bus stop infrastructure and public transport information provision.
