Maintenance Officer

Job description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Handyperson to join the team, reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager. This varied role requires you to maintain the resort building, plant & equipment, fixtures, and fittings to the required standard, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees. You will be responsible for undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance programs throughout the resort. This includes: - Ensure consistent and high-quality maintenance works across all resort facilities and trades. - Changing of light globes and fixtures; - Ensure consistent and high-quality maintenance works across all facilities and trades - Ensure each room has no maintenance defects prior to guest arrival - Pool Cleaning and Maintenance - Painting of Houses, areas - Identify faults and coordinate with trade-qualified contractors such as electricians, plumbers, and air conditioning mechanics. - Help Organise and perform periodic cleaning and maintenance - Find faults and contact trade-qualified contractors such as electricians, plumbers, and air conditioning mechanics.
