Role Summary The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Workforce Optimization is responsible for the end‑to‑end design, governance, and execution of State Street’s global workforce reduction process. This role partners closely with Global HR COEs, Employee Relations, Legal, Finance, Technology, and business leaders to ensure compliant, efficient, and consistent workforce optimization outcomes across regions. Key Responsibilities: Own and govern the global workforce optimization process, ensuring standardization and compliance while addressing local regulatory requirements. Define clear process frameworks, roles, governance models, and decision rights across stakeholders. Drive continuous process improvement through data analysis, benchmarking, and performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs). Partner with HR Technology teams to enable automation, tools, and reporting capabilities. Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on workforce reduction planning and execution. Act as the primary HR partner to Finance on severance-related accounting and reporting.
