Salary Details The salary range for this position is CAD $36.69/Hr. - CAD $45.81/Hr. Job Summary: Come work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) at Vancouver General Hospital! Within the context of a patient/client and family-centred framework and continuum-based care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision, values and policies of the department across the Lower Mainland Medical Imaging (LMMI) health authorities (Fraser Health, Providence Health Care, Provincial Health Services and Vancouver Coastal Health). Position performs additional procedures/techniques and related duties within Nuclear Medicine such as radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and special cell labelling for lower mainland hospitals. Duties include preparing and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals for shipping, labelling cells using sterile techniques, instructing manufacturing and cell labeling techniques to staff, operating nuclear medicine laboratory equipment, performing routine quality control tests on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals, monitoring radioactive storage areas utilizing appropriate detection devices and disposing of rad...
