Residential Loan Specialist Role: The residential loan specialist will be responsible for originating high quality residential first and second lien mortgage loans that meet the credit union’s credit, compliance, workflow and other rules and guidelines. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with branch operations, realtors, builders, attorneys, financial advisors, and other external sources. Counsel customers on various types of mortgage financing, choosing a program best suited to their needs. Complete mortgage application, follow through to closing and resolve any problems. As our residential loan specialist, you will: - Originate complete and accurate mortgage applications. - Exceed customer expectations (both external and internal) at every touch point (phone, email, chat, etc.) - Fulfill expressed and unexpressed financial needs of customers.
