Description Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a PRN Sleep Lab Technician. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Prepare patients for sleep studies - Apply and calibrating monitoring equipment and monitoring patients throughout their stay - Apply positive airway pressure therapy and oxygen as needed. - Complete necessary paperwork following study - Other duties as assigned Education: Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent - Certified as a Sleep Lab Technician by the BRPT - 2+ years of sleep lab experience and respiratory training preferred Knowledge: Skills: Abilities: Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc. Work Environment: Position is in a well-lighted office environment. Occasional evening and weekend work. Mental/Physical Requirements: I nvolves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder. - Knowledge of Sleep Lab procedures and processes. - Knowledge electronic equipment and computer hardware and software. - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
