We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Field Service Engineer covering London and surrounding areas. HOURS OF WORK – Monday to Friday including weekend work and callouts - 40 Hours a Week Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Amey Defence Equipment proactively maintain a fleet of MOTS and COTS product, both company and customer owned within their engineering capabilities. Maximise the operational availability for the customer by investigating, understanding and eliminating failed/fault operation of those products such that the fix is as rapid and cost effective as possible while ensuring continued safe and effective operation for the foreseeable future. What you will do: - Both at outset and as work progresses, liaise with Service Desk MSC and customer on the range of expected work providing clarity and understanding by all parties the likely timescales and associated costs are understood. - Identify the root cause of a breakdown in a timely manner and ensure the correct parts are obtained using the nominated supply chain, including when required, the spares technical team. - Identify any further work required on a machine and ensure the customer is made...
