Job description

A Mandarin speaking Senior Mechanical Engineer is needed to join GT Wings, an ambitious engineering led CleanTech and MarineTech company developing wind assisted propulsion systems that help commercial vessels cut fuel consumption and emissions. Mandarin fluency is essential for this role. Based in the Southampton area, this is a hands on, high ownership position within a small, expert team turning innovative concepts into production ready hardware now being deployed at sea. Visa sponsorship is available and we welcome applications from candidates prepared to relocate to the UK. GT Wings is at a pivotal stage. With one full scale AirWing already on the water and further systems in build, the focus is firmly on manufacturable, scalable delivery. The culture is engineering first, mission driven and practical. Ideas move quickly from CAD to fabrication, assembly and real world operation.
