Summary: The Senior Emerging & AI Technology Architect serves as a strategic, hands-on architect, bridging business objectives with solutions in emerging technologies and AI within the IT and electric energy sector. The candidate will assume the responsibilities of an Emerging Technologies and AI Architect, emphasizing the identification, evaluation, development, and advancement of technical opportunities for NYPA. This role entails researching, designing, and implementing advanced solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and other emerging technologies. The goal is to leverage these advanced technologies to optimize grid operations, enhance energy efficiency, enable predictive maintenance, and support the transition to a sustainable, smart energy ecosystem.
